Google recently appointed Preeti Lobana as their new Country Manager and Vice President for its operation in India. With Lobana's hiring, Google has become the second big tech company in India to select a female country head, after Meta.
Who is Preeti Lobana
Preeti Lobana is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in senior management positions in the technology and financial industries. She has been selected as Google India's new Country Manager and Vice President, succeeding Sanjay Gupta, who is now President of the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to this role, Lobana served as Google's Vice President for gTech, leading a global team and driving innovative ad solutions and support for Google's customers and partners. She has also had extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry, having worked with companies like NatWest, American Express, Standard Chartered Bank, and ANZ Grindlays Bank.
